Quick update after church today
Quick update after church today…
Yesterday was a busy day! From a provincial Conservative campaign kickoff to meeting residents at our school trustee meet and greet at Cadet Hall.
Thank you to everyone who came out, asked questions, and shared what matters to you and your family.
Abbotsford, there are two separate elections this October:
• October 17: Abbotsford municipal and school trustee election. City of Abbotsford.
• October 24: B.C. provincial election. Elections BC
I'm running for Abbotsford School Trustee alongside Eric Nyvall and Amritpal Mund under the Abbotsford Conservatives name. City of Abbotsford.
For those asking what's in my school trustee platform, here are three of the proposals:
• Parental notification: Send lesson plans and materials home two weeks before SOGI 123 content is used.
• School safety: Expand police liaison officers' involvement in our high schools, including mentoring and relationship-building.
• Report cards: Provide letter grades and percentages so families can see those measures of academic progress.
I'll keep sharing updates and discussing these proposals as we head toward election day.
Have a question about my platform or something you'd like me to address? Comment it below.
P.S. You don't have to wait until October 17. Abbotsford's advance voting dates are this week: October 7, 10, and 11.
